Update 01/06/2020 – We are still closed for tours and visitors but we are working on opening a new COVID safe tour experience alongside our new kitchen and shop in August 2020. We will update you as soon as we have new details to share as we can’t wait to welcome you back to the vines. Stay safe
We are devastated as a family to see the pain, heartache and anxiety spreading around the globe due to COVID-19. All of our thoughts and love go out to those affected in these very trying times. At this point given the recent government advice, we feel it is now necessary that we cancel all tours booked to take place before 8th June 2020. As sad as we are to have to turn you away from our doors for this short period, in this time of need, yours and our teams’ safety is our top priority.
If you have booked a tour in this period or even later into the year you can postpone your visit until later when the impact of the outbreak has hopefully been minimalised and you feel safe enough to venture out and join us in the vines. If you are unable to visit us on a new date then you are of course entitled to a full refund. Over the coming days we will be contacting everyone who has a booking with us in this period but if you would like to get in touch please do contact our team here.
We are also extending this to all our gift voucher holders, if you have a vineyard tour or afternoon tea voucher that is currently valid we will be adding an extra 6 months on to the expiry date. If you have any questions please get in touch here.
And finally, the COVID-19 outbreak also means our new kitchen, shop and winery will be delayed in opening its doors this summer. We are still on-site working on the building every day and will continue to do so as long as it is safe and we can do so. However, it is now unlikely we will be able to open until further into the summer season. We feel very lucky in the sense that we are mid-development and hopefully the outbreak shouldn’t have any long-lasting effects on us, but we would like to urge all who can in these trying times to try to shop local and help support the fantastic local business we have here in Devon.
Sending all our love to everyone affected, we will get through this together and afterwards you’ll have to join us for quite a party when we open our new doors. In the meantime keep tunned into our social feeds for all things vine and expansion related and if you need any wine over the coming weeks all our vintages can be ordered online.
