Come and celebrate the Queen’s platinum jubilee with us. We are ready for 4 days of fun in the vines and quite a few cold glasses along the way. Between Thu 2nd + Sun 5th June we have a range of special treats and events planned plus we will be serving our click + collect platters too. So you can bring a piece of Alder to your own party at home.

Jubilee weekend - sunset tours

Sunset tour + supper evening (SAT 4TH June @ 6PM) – Join us on Saturday for the ultimate evening with us. Discover our story, learn all about English wine on a vineyard tour and wine tasting with our head wine wizard Tom followed by delicious sharing platters loaded with Devon cheese + charcuterie, all topped off with a tasty sweet treat. – here

 

In the kitchen + bar – Our kitchen + bar team will be serving up some Jubilee inspired treats across the extended bank holiday weekend. Cooking up some classic British sweat treats and the Queen’s favourite tipple will be hitting our cocktail list – Book a table

 

Jubilee weekend - platters

Eat at home winemakers platters (Click + Collect) – Celebrating the jubilee at home or putting on a street party? We are bringing back our eat at home version of our signature winemakers platter. Loaded with delicious Devon cheeses, charcuterie, fruit and locally baked sourdough. Perfect shared with friends and family at home over a well-chilled bottle. Find out more and book yours – here

We are Covid secure

Yours and our teams safety is our number 1 priority. We have made a number of changes in the vines to keep us all safe. This is under constant review and will be updated when the government advice changes.

We have been verified by Visit England as ‘Good to go’

Social distancing

Please keep to a 2m distance when you visit. We have set all our tables at least 1.5m apart and do recommend face coverings in all indoor areas. Our team will still be wearing face covering when around you too.

Tables size limits

To continue to keep us safe in the vines we are keeping our tables limited to 10 people. We can accommodate larger groups but please get in touch to discuss any 10+ bookings with us.

Hand washing & cleaning

We have introduced a number of hand cleaning stations and guests are required to use hand sanatisor on entry. Our team are washing their hands between each customer and we are disinfecting all tables and chairs between use.

Payment

We are offering table service in the kitchen and advice using contactless or card payments where possible.

Live in the vines at Alder Vineyard

Come join us on Sun 26th June for our first ever ‘Live in the vines’. An afternoon filled with foot-stomping acoustic classics from Wayne Downing plus nibbles + drinks from across Devon.
