SUN 28TH SEPTEMBER AT 2:30PM | £5PP
Come join us on Sunday 28th September for our next ‘Live in the Vines’. The Mojito Trio will be filling the vines with their distinctive arrangements, spanning everything from J.S. Bach and the Great American Songbook to contemporary favourites by Lionel Richie, Eva Cassidy, Carole King and Billy Joel. With stunning vocals, keyboard, flute, saxophone and clarinet, they promise an unforgettable evening of music. We’ll also be serving our sharing platters, plus nibbles and drinks from across Devon to enjoy. Join us in the kitchen overlooking Dartmoor with family and friends and a glass of wine in hand – the perfect way to top off the weekend.
Mojito
The Mojito trio has been performing throughout the South West since 2006, normally as a piano, bass and drums instrumental trio, with different lineups but generally featuring Andy Lawton (ex Rhythm Machine, Blowing Cookies) on piano. More recently we have started to add vocals and additional soloists too, depending on the requirements of each particular gig.
For 28 September however, Andy will be joined by singer, Emma Watson and Marius Rudnick on saxes, clarinet and flutes.Emma is one of Devon’s top female vocalists, song writer and choir director of Exeter’s Soul of the City gospel choir, who reached the final of BBC Gospel Choir of the Year in 2023.We’re also delighted to be joined by multi-instrumentalist Marius Rudnick on saxophones, flute & clarinet. Marius played in The John Miller Orchestra until John’s death & is currently a member of The Glenn Miller Memorial Orchestra, The Dave Hankin Big Band and several other bands in the South West.
Please note that we will stop serving our full lunch menu from 2pm but we will be serving a range of Devon platters, nibbles + drinks all afternoon. (View nibbles menu)
