We are delighted to announce winning more awards for Alder Vineyard at the WineGB Awards 2023
As Christmas approaches and the dark nights draw in for the winter, we are thrilled to announce even more awards for the Alder Vineyard team to brighten our spirits. Having just been crowned the Best Café in Devon for the second year in a row at the Devon Tourism Awards we are beyond ecstatic to announce two new awards to add to our collection.
We are now the proud recipients of a silver award for our Madeleine Angevine 2022 as well as a bronze for our Rondo Rosé 2022. These medals will soon be found adorning our bottles on a shelf in the vineyard shop or perhaps even in your own wine rack ahead of being enjoyed at home.
We celebrated the region’s finest vineyards and wines with many of our vineyard and winemaking friends at the wonderful Trevibban Mill Vineyard near Padstow on Tuesday 21st of November 2023. A great turnout of the region’s winemakers, vineyard teams and owners included a tour of the Cornish vineyard, a delicious lunch and culminated in the awards ceremony which saw a multitude of wines receive bronze, silver or gold medals. The number of wines receiving these prestigious awards goes to show the quality and consistency of wines produced in the region.
Big thanks to the WineGBWest team for organising the year’s awards ceremony and thanks to Trevibban Mill Vineyard for being wonderful hosts.
You can try our now award-winning wines for yourselves in a number of ways. You can join a tour of the vineyard + winery, with a tasting all year round (book here), join us in the shop for free tasters, where you can stock up for christmas or join us for a spot of lunch in the vineyard café (reserve a table here).
This really just leaves one question…
White or rosé with Christmas dinner?
