SUN 30TH JULY – FROM 2:30PM
Come join us on Sunday 30th July for the return of Paul Armer to the vines! An afternoon filled with a collection of honest, heartfelt songs. Inspired by Americana, with hints of alternative country, folk + bluegrass. We will also be serving our sharing platters, plus nibbles + drinks from across Devon to enjoy. Join us in the kitchen overlooking Dartmoor with family and friends and a glass of wine in hand, the perfect way to top off the weekend.
Paul Armer
With a voice and perspective that seems beyond his 27 years, and a collection of honest, heartfelt songs that mirror and connect with an audience, Paul Armer is a singer-songwriter that deserves to be heard. Taking inspiration from the likes of Bruce Springsteen, Billy Strings, Jason Isbell and Sturgill Simpson, his sound resides where these influences meet.
As of late 2021, Paul became a fully self-employed musician after earning his stripes in bars, pubs, clubs, jams, at festivals, weddings and even the odd funeral. Having spent much of 2022 recording what will be Paul’s debut full length album, 2023 is set to be a big year. If it can fit into a genre, due to the various influences Paul has accumulated over the years, his album could be described as Americana, with hints of alternative country, folk and bluegrass.
Please note that we will stop serving our full lunch menu from 2pm but we will be serving a range of Devon platters, nibbles (view event menu) + drinks all afternoon. And if the weather is not in our favour the event will be held inside with views across the valley.
Booking is recommended – Reserve a table for the afternoon
