Well this was rather mad! Our little patch of Devon only made it on to the @apple account as a part of their #shotoniphone series. Putting our vines in-front of their 26.8 million global followers.
Adam, our Head of creativity took the image just before harvest and shared the story of how it ended up going global below:
“As a lover of photography and having just upgraded to a new iPhone I was playing around in the vines before harvest to see what the new camera could do. That’s when I was able to capture and share this beautiful macro shot of the morning dew dripping from our grapes. Posting it out on our socials with the added hashtag #shotoniphone I didn’t really expect anything to happen but then came an email from apple and next thing we know our image is in front of their 26.8m followers as a part of their ‘Shot on iPhone’ campaign!”
The IEWA (Independent English Wine Awards) even went as far as saying “In terms of reach, the image is the most successful piece of English wine content of all time… 🔥”
